Bahrain Mirror: The Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud received in Jeddah Abdullah bin Ali bin Abdullah bin Jassem Al Thani, one of the Qatari ruling family who resides in Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said that King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was directed by Al Thani to open the Salwa border crossing for the entry of Qatari pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's territories.
Saudi Arabia deem Abdullah Al Thani a dissident to the ruling family and can play a role to change the current Qatari policies, however, the man who resides in Saudi Arabia does not practice politics.
SPA added that the king also ordered the dispatch of a private aircraft belonging to the Saudi Airlines to Doha Airport to fly all Qatari pilgrims at his own expense to the city of Jeddah.
Qatar accused the Saudis of politicizing Hajj and addressed the United Nations Special Rapporteur on freedom of religion last month, expressing concern about obstacles facing Qataris who want to attend Hajj this year.
Saudi Arabia, the Emirates and Bahrain served their relations with Qatar after accusing it of terrorism. Qatar, however, denies this charge.
