Court Upholds Fines against 3 Contractors for Announcing Unauthorized Haj Campaigns

Bahrain Mirror: The Second High Criminal Court upheld punishing 3 convicts over two separate cases. The suspects announced on social media outlets taking pilgrims to Haj despite not having a permit to do so. The court fined each of the suspects 200 BD.
The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments announced that there are unauthorized campaigns taking pilgrims to Haj without permits after they were detected via social media outlets.
The court was assured that the three appellants made an offence in 2016 and worked in Haj-related contracting without an authorization.
