Appeals Court Refers Case of Policeman Murder to Supreme Council of Justice after Disconcertion

Bahrain Mirror: The Supreme Court of Appeals referred the murder case of policeman Mahmoud Farid, in which the first suspect is sentenced to death penalty, 7 other suspects are sentenced to life in prison and 4 others to a 10-year jail term, to the Supreme Council of Justice, after falling in a disconcertion, since one of the commission members was among the Court commission that issued the ruling in a Court of first instance.

Chief of Terror Crime Prosecution Advocate General Ahmed Al Hammadi had stated that the court had unanimously issued a verdict that sentences the first suspect to death, 7 others to life imprisonment and 4 others to 10 years in prison over killing policeman Mahmoud Farid. Meanwhile, the court revoked the citizenships of all the suspects.
