Jaffaria (Waqf) Endowments: Registration of 312 Ashura Food Stands Completed

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Jaffaria Endowments (Waqf) directorate said that it has completed the registration of 312 Ashura food stands, since the directorate announced opening the door for registration on September 10. 177 were registered in the Capital Governorate, 104 in the Northern Governorate, 20 in the Muharraq Governorate and 11 in the Southern Governorate.
Sheikh Mohsen Al Asfour, Chairman of the Jaffaria Endowments Council confirmed that the directorate has received many requests to register Ashura food stands in various areas across the country, deeming it "a gesture that reflects the growing awareness towards organized work to commemorate Ashura and show its human values in a dignified manner that reflects awareness, civilization and progress in cooperation with all concerned parties and commitment to all regulations set by the directorate."
For his part, the head of maintenance services, Ali Mirza, said that the directorate is working in coordination with the Ministry of Municipalities and Urban Planning and the Ministry of Interior, as well as the Electricity and Water Authority to ensure the running of the proceedings and commemoration of Ashura to the fullest.
Ali Mirza further confirmed that the maintenance service hotline 80008898 receives round the clock calls for any queries or emergencies, calling on everyone to cooperate in order to commemorate Ashura in a dignified manner reflecting awareness and civilization.
