Bahrain Mirror- Exclusive: A Bahraini appeals court adjourned the case of president of Bahrain Center for Human Rights and prominent human rights activist Nabeel Rajab until November 8 for final pleading.
On July 10, 2017, a first-instance court sentenced Rajab to 2 years in prison after accusing him of "disseminating false news" over a background of television interviews in which he talked about human rights violations in Bahrain.
US expressed disappointment with the sentence against Rajab, calling to drop the charges against him and immediately release him.
