Bahrain Mirror: The Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism Zayed Al-Zayani denied what the Reuters news agency quoted as saying that the dispute with Qatar would not be long-term, which is a positive remark, inconsistent with the government's stance.
"There is no truth to what some media outlets reported about a statement attributed to him about the Qatar Crisis," Al-Zayani said in a statement.
He stressed that their stance is consistent with regard to this issue, claiming that the Qatari side are blamed for the consequences since it violated the principles of the Gulf Cooperation Council states, which stipulate not to interfere with other countries' affairs and the reject terrorism and extremism.
It is likely that Al-Zayani was pressured to deny his remarks, which he made at a business conference in the Saudi capital of Riyadh.
