Bahrain Mirror: The minor criminal court decided to amend the penalty of the artist Mansour Sanqima to four months in prison and a 50 dinar fine, instead of two years and six months in prison, with a 50 dinar fine, for charges linked to the insult of former MP Mohammed Khaled through social media network. A thousand dinar fine was set as bail to halt the sentence.

The case began when former MP Mohammad Khaled reported that he was surprised when his friends told him the defendant was insulting him on social media websites. He said the defendant accused him of untrue events, which many believed and started to question him about it.

The 44-year-old Sanqima did not deny the allegations made by the plaintiff, and said he was defending Bahrain, confirming that he is the owner of the two social media accounts highlighted in the case on Facebook and Instagram.
