Court Upholds 3-Year Jail Verdict against Suspect Accused of Assembling in Ras Rumman

Bahrain Mirror: The Sixth High Criminal Court upheld a verdict sentencing a suspect accused of assembling to 3 years in prison.
The authorities accused the suspect, along with others, of assembling, burning two cars through hurling Molotov against them. The court sentenced two defendants to 3 years in prison and a third one to 5 years and bound them to pay 519 BD for the damages.
The authorities claim that the defendants assembled, along with others, in Ras Rumman village, on December 17, 2015, and hurled Molotov against a police patrol, burning 15% of a car and damaging the other, which hindered the public transportation. Meanwhile, the security apparatuses claim that they reached the suspects through "investigations".
