Bahrain: Protests Condemning Trump’s Decision Recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s Capital

Bahrain Mirror: Thousands of Bahrainis took to streets in different villages in Bahrain on Friday (December 8, 2017) condemning Trump's decision that recognizes Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
Protestors held photos for the Jerusalem city and for highest religious authority Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim that read "Jerusalem is our eternal capital".
Qassim, who is known for supporting the Palestinian case, had underwent a surgery on Friday, after over a year of his house arrest.
Protestors chanted slogans against the US President Donald Trump and burnt his photos as well American flags.
In Juffair, near the US Navy base, protestors blocked main streets and demanded to expel the US ambassador from Bahrain.
Bahrain witnessed more than 30 protests that refuse US policies in the region and support the rights of Palestinians in their land.
