Court Rejects Appeals of Suspect Accused of Burning Tires in Sadad

Bahrain Mirror: The High Appeals Criminal Court rejected looking into challenge of defendant sentenced to 3 years in jail over assembling and burning tires near Sadad roundabout.
The one who challenged the verdict is one of 5 convicts who were handed down 3-year jail term by the first-instance court that sentenced 3 others to one year in jail too, over case of assembling and burning ties near Sadad roundabout, fined the first suspect 100 BD, and ordered the confiscation of seized items.
The public prosecution accused the suspects of setting, along with other unknowns, movables to fire, on October 9, 2015, for a terrorist aim, taking part, along with other unknowns, in an assembly of more than 5 persons and putting people's lives and money to danger.
The prosecution accused the first suspect of acquiring a brass knuckle without a license from the Minister of Interior.
