Bahrain Mirror: A conference held in Bahrain on Monday (January 8, 2018) accused Qatar of taking part of Bahrain's sovereign borders and naturalizing Bahrainis, aiming at changing the country's demography.
The forum held by Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (DERASAT), entitled "Qatar: The Patron Anarchy and Crises in the Middle East", said in its concluding statement that Bahrain has lost a vital part of its documented sovereign land, when Qatar took part of Bahrain's sovereign borders.
The statement accused Qatar of "forging dozens of historical documents", adding that Qatar also conducted systematic looting of Bahrain's land and wealth.
The statement further stated that Qatar exploited naturalization to implement a subversive agenda by intentionally harming Bahrain's demographic structure, social fabric, national security and supreme interests.
Bahrain has naturalized tens of thousands of Sunnis from Pakistan, Syria, Yemen and Jordan to change the demographic composition represented by Shia majority.
Bahrain shows dissatisfaction with Qatar over naturalizing members of Arab Sunni families like Al-Mohandi and Al-Jalahima who most of them work in army or hold sovereign posts.
