Case of Nabeel Rajab over Criticizing War on Yemen Adjourned until Feb. 21

Bahrain Mirror: A Bahraini court adjourned on Monday (January 15, 2018) the case of president of Bahrain Center for Human Rights and prominent human rights defender Nabeel Rajab until February 21, to issue its sentence.
Rajab is being prosecuted over tweets in which he criticized war waged by Saudi Arabia and its allies on Yemen and other tweets about torture in Jaw prison.
The cassation court also held a trial session for Rajab today and upheld a 2-year jail term against him over television interviews he made with foreign media outlets about violations in the country.
