Bahrain Mirror: Civil Defense team in Bahrain managed to extinguish a fire late on Saturday at the Imam Al-Rida funeral home in the Malikiya area, which caused damage to the whole place without any reported injuries.

According to reports, at 12 pm on Saturday, residents of the village of Malikiya were surprised to see the funeral home have caught fire. The residents immediately tried to put out the fire, while one of them contacted the civil defense force, who quickly arrived as soon as they received the call. They divided themselves into groups so that they could block the fire and prevent the flames from reaching neighboring buildings.

A number of police vehicles were stationed at the site closing off the street, so that the civil defense personnel could properly carry out their duties and in order to protect the citizens from getting hurt. After the fire was extinguished, the authorities opened an investigation to find out the reasons behind the incident.

For its part, the Ministry of Interior stated on its official page on Twitter that the fire broke out in a funeral home in the Malikiya area due to an electric arc.
