Bahrain Mirror: A Bahraini MP (who refrained from mentioning his name) told Akhbar Al-Khaleej newspaper that "the current situation for the budget doesn't allow to approve any new privileges to the citizens, whether on terms of doubling high cost allowance or adopting new allowance."
The MP indicated that "Maintaining the current gains is sufficient amid the difficult economic circumstances witnessed in the country. Citizens should "thank God" and stop nagging on social media outlets."
He also noted that the screams inside the House of Representatives is but a "play" that aims at stirring people's feelings.
