Bahrain Interior Ministry: Foreign Workers Required to Make 400 Dinars Minimum Monthly Wage for Family Members to Acquire Visa

Bahrain Mirror: Bahraini Interior Minister Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa issued an order on the amendment of the visa and residence permit regulations of family members of foreign workers and employers in Bahrain.
"Term (c) of Article 2 of Decree No. 121 of 2007 on visa and residence permit of family members of foreign workers and employers shall be replaced by the stipulation that the monthly income of the foreign worker or employer should not be less than 400 BD," read the order.
However, Article 2 stipulates that the current licensees who have been granted a residence permit prior to the provisions of this order shall be excluded from applying to the provisions of Article 3 (c) of Decree No. 121 of 2007 regarding the entry visa and residence permit of foreign workers and employers family members.
