Bahrain Mirror: Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society confirmed that Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim was transferred to the hospital to receive treatment after his health condition has worsened, and since he needs to undergo an important surgery.
Al-Wefaq revealed that Sheikh Qassim began to feel sick and needed surgery more than 10 days ago, but surprisingly, the regime procrastinated and delayed allowing him to undergo the surgery.
The society said that the regime stalled in setting a date for the surgery, adding that during the period of procrastination and waiting, the hearing of the Court of Cassation was held and the regime moved its judicial tools again in the trial of the Shiite presence.
Al-Wefaq called for ending this hostile action against the Shiite component and returning the nationality to the highest Shiite authority in Bahrain, Sheikh Isa Qassim.
