Bahrain International Circuit CEO Says F1 Races Achieved $1 Billion Revenues within 10 Years

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain International Circuit Chief Executive Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa said that Bahrain circuit achieved huge financial revenues that reached billion dollar within 10 years since 2009.
He indicated in a press conference that the 2017 F1 race achieved a record in the mass turnout to the circuit during race days. The number of visitors reached 93 thousand within 3 days. Meanwhile, the number is expected to increase in 2018 race.
This statement contradicts the numbers show the circuit's continuous losses, which usually resorts to the government that provides it with financial aids, as is the case of Gulf Air.
