Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa sent a verbal message to President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El Sisi, conveyed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa.
According to an official statement, the message tackled "promoting fraternal relations (...) as well as latest developments in the region".
The message is believed to be related to dispute with Qatar, especially that King Hamad received message from Emir of Kuwait, who sent similar messages to King of Saudi Arabia and Emir of Qatar.
Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Emirates and Egypt boycott Qatar and accuse it of supporting terrorism. However, Doha denies this charge.
Since June 2017, the quartet served their diplomatic ties with Qatar and shut their sea, land and air borders with Doha.
