Labour Minister: Transferring Salaries of Private Sector Employees to Banks Starting Next May

Bahrain Mirror: Minister of Labour and Social Development Jameel Humaidan said that the executive decision to transfer salaries of all employees in private companies to banks instead of paying them in cash is to start in May.
This came in the minister's response to a parliamentary question about the labour complaints regarding the failure in paying up the employees' salaries on time, the minister said that 64% of the complaints were solved in an amicable manner.
He further stated that there are no obstacles in the process of paying salaries, but rather some economic conditions in a number of companies.
