Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Fourth High Criminal Court adjourned the case of a Bahraini youth accused of planting fake bomb on Sheikh Zayed Street until April 24.
The authorities say that they received a notice stating that there is a strange body found on Sheikh Zayed Street in front of a driving school. Citizens got intimidated as they thought the strange body is a bomb. The competent authorities dealt with the strange body and controlled the situation after they recognized that the body was a hoax bomb.
The authorities claim that they reached the suspects through "investigations".
Human rights organizations challenge the charges raised against political detainees, since they doubt the independence of the judiciary, whose members are assigned by royal decrees, and since it issues sentences based on confessions extracted under duress and evidence presented by secret investigations and anonymous witnesses.
