Bahrain Mirror: The Southern Governorate Municipality, in coordination with the Southern Governorate Security Directorate, organized a campaign for clearing the vendor stands of fruit and vegetable shops on Sheikh Ibrahim Street, compound 903, and Sheikh Hamoud bin Sabah Street in compounds 901, 905 and 907 in Riffa.

During this campaign, the road violations of 10 vegetable and fruit shops were removed and 4 street vendor spots were cleared as well.

The Municipality's Control and Inspection Department carries out continuous campaigns against road violations in various areas in implementation of Decree No. 2 of 1996 on Road Traffic Law.
