Inflation Increases 0.7% in Bahrain Last Month

Bahrain Mirror: The consumer price index in Bahrain for February 2018 increased by 0.7% in comparison with January 2018, as it reached 131.4 points versus 130.5 points in January, according to official statistics.
This increase came as a result of the surge in transport group price by 3.2%, and food and non-alcoholic beverages group by 1.9%.
The consumer price index for February 2018 also increased in comparison with February 2017 with 3.1%, as it reached 131.4 points versus 127.5 in February 2017.
