Bahrain Mirror: Official numbers revealed that the average income rate of Bahrainis in the public sector reached 687 BD, the second lowest salary among Gulf States after Oman.
Data submitted by Labour Minister Jameel Humaidan to House of Representatives in its last session showed that the average income rate of Bahrainis in private sector reached 406 BD at end of 2017.
Since 2011, Minister of social development defined poverty line at 377 BD. However, this limit was criticized by the economists who saw that the poverty line in Bahrain should be 600 BD for the family.
