Joint Committee Sets 2,000 BD as Maximum Limit of Gov’t Subsidies

Bahrain Mirror: The Joint Legislative Commission said on Monday (April 2, 2018) that it had agreed to set the ceiling for direct government subsidies at 2,000 Bahraini dinars, added to the incomes of the heads of households.
The Commission, which represents the Shura and House of Representatives, said the technical committee would discuss the division of the outstanding segments and the amounts to be allocated to each segment in the coming period before convening with the cabinet.
