Quality of Nationality Index Ranks Bahraini Nationality Last on Gulf Level

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's nationality has been ranked last among the Gulf states in terms of quality, according to a report issued by Henley & Partners, a global leader in assessing quality of passports and nationalities.
Bahrain came in the 90th place on a global level, alongside Oman, while Saudi Arabia was ranked in the 89th place, Qatar in the 87th place, and Kuwait saw a significant decline in its ranking from last year, as it came in the 82nd place, after previously reaching a 72th ranking.
The UAE had the best nationality in the Gulf, ranking 46th out of 167 nationalities in the index.
Among the countries of the region, Turkey ranked 83rd, Iraq 165th, Iran 137th, Lebanon 138th, Tunisia 110th, Morocco 123rd, Jordan 130th, Egypt 135th, Palestinian Territory 150th, Sudan 157th, Yemen 161st, Syria 162nd, while the Somali nationality came in last place with a 167th ranking.
The Henley & Partners - Kochenov Quality of Nationality Index (QNI) is the first index of its kind to objectively rank the quality of nationalities worldwide. The French nationality topped the index, followed by Germany, Iceland, Denmark and the Netherlands. The British nationality declined to the 13th place, while the US nationality went up two rankings reaching the 27th place.
It explores both the internal factors (such as economic strength, human development, and peace and stability) and the external factors (including visa-free travel and the ability to settle and work abroad without cumbersome formalities) that make one nationality better than another in terms of a legal status through which to develop your talents and business.
