Bahrain Mirror: The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) agreed to reconsider the death verdict issued against two death row convicts Mohammad Ramadan and Hussein Mousa.
The unit added in a statement that it "finished investigating complaints filed by Hussein Ali Mousa and Mohammad Ramadan Isa, who were sentenced to death for killing a policeman and attempting to murder others (...) The unit demanded the retrial of the two convicts, taking into account the new elements in the case."
The Public Prosecutor approved the proposal and referred the case to the Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister.
Dissidents Mohammad Ramadan and Hussein Mousa face death penalty over taking part in protests before being accused of killing a policeman.
