NBB Denies Imposing Charges on Cash Withdrawals from Savings and Current Accounts

Bahrain Mirror: The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) denied imposing charges on cash withdrawals from savings and current accounts for its customers across banks ATM networks.
The Central Bank of Bahrain had bound all retail banks operating in the Kingdom in late May 2016 to cancel the 100 fils fees on each process imposed on non-customers for operations through the ATMs.
The National Bank of Bahrain stressed that there are no charges associated with cash withdrawals from savings and current accounts for NBB customers across banks ATM networks in line with CBB regulations. Information about ATM cash withdrawal charges that have been circulated on some social media channels are for the Taabeya Card only in line with the terms and conditions of this prepaid credit card product.
