Bahrain Crown Prince Calls for Attracting Int’l Companies to Explore New Oil Field

Bahrain Mirror: Bahraini Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa has called for developing necessary mechanisms for inviting and attracting international companies to cooperate with national oil and gas companies in order to invest in the new oil field.
Salman bin Hamad chaired a meeting of the Higher Committee for Natural Resources and Economic Security.
"It is expected that drilling of additional experimental wells will begin in October this year, the evaluation period of the experimental wells will be completed in June 2019, and the development and production partners will be selected by the end of 2019," he said in a statement.
