Arab Insurance Group Ends Contract Service of its CEO Yassir Al-Baharna

Bahrain Mirror: The Arab Insurance Group "Arig", listed in Bahrain and Dubai's bourse, said that it ended the contract of service of Yassir Al-Baharna, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), after 30 years of service.
The company indicated, in an official statement published on Bahrain Bourse Website, that the Board of Directors decided to appoint Samuel Verghese, Deputy General Manager of Finance and Administration, temporarily as acting CEO until further notice.
The Arab Insurance Group made $502.000 profits during the first quarter of 2018, with 3.5% growth compared to $485.000 profits achieved during the first quarter of 2017.
The company that was founded in 1980 works in field of general insurance, life reinsurance and its activities as well as providing insurance and other financial services.
