Bahrain Mirror: The Islamic National Tribune (Al-Menbar) Society, the political wing of the Muslim Brotherhood in Bahrain, rejected Washington's demand to the Public Prosecution not to appeal the verdict acquitting Bahraini opposition leader Sheikh Ali Salman of "colluding with Qatar" charge.
The Society voiced its condemnation to the statement issued by the US State of Department "with respect to one of the cases looked into by Bahraini courts and its blatant interference in Bahrain's internal affairs and the verdicts issued by the Bahraini judiciary," calling on the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs to be stronger and more assertive in facing these interferences.
Al-Menbar society claimed that Bahrain "was and remains targeted by a number of external forces with cooperation with some parties that work against Bahrain's higher interests and seek to impose their agenda through blackmailing governments of the region with sensational false slogans masked as human rights."
