Bahrain: 725 Individuals Involved in Drug Cases since Onset of Year

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Minister of Interior Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa said that the anti-narcotics directorate discovered 1081 drug cases during 2017.
He explained in a speech, making the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, that the number of involved individuals in these cases reached 1305 and that legal measures were taken against them.
"From January to May this year, 579 cases were registered involving 725 people," the minister further stated.
