Detainee Sayed Kadhem Abbas Undergoes Head Tumor Surgery in Military Hospital

Bahrain Mirror: Prominent human rights activist Ibtisam Al-Saegh said that detainee Sayed Kadhem Abbas underwent today (Monday, July 2, 2018) a surgery for head tumor that was recently discovered while in prison.
Al-Saegh stressed that Abbas left the operation room in the military hospital and was transferred to the ICU until his health stabilizes.
When arrested, Sayed Kadhem Abbas wasn't suffering from any disease. However, the bad conditions and medical negligence in Jaw prison led to his health deterioration. He was transferred to the military hospital few days ago to undergo examinations, and it was revealed that he has a head tumor that should be removed.
