Bahrain International Airport Adds 11 New Routes

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain International Airport (BIA) said that Gulf Air (Bahrain's national carrier) added 8 new routes, with new direction services to Bangalore (India), Calicut (India), Abha (Saudi Arabia), Tubuk (Saudi Arabia), Alexandria (Egypt), Sharm El Shaikh (Egypt), Baku (Azerbaijan), and Casablanca (Morocco).
Meanwhile, Atlas Global has added new routes from Bahrain to Izmir, Antalya, and Trabzon. In addition, Turkish Airlines also added a service Trabzon to its list of destinations from Bahrain.
Bahrain International Airport welcomed Azerbaijan Airlines that started its new direct service between Baku and Bahrain, operating twice a week between Heydar Aliyev International Airport and BIA.
