MoI: Bahraini Female, Two Others Involved in Smuggling Narcotics through King Fahd Causeway

Bahrain Mirror: The Director-General of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science announced the arrest of a Bahraini man and woman and a Gulf national who had planned and coordinated with a foreigner to smuggle hashish worth 18000 BD through King Fahd Causeway for sale.
The official indicated that the Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science directorate received information stating that a Gulf national dealt with two others in Bahrain to smuggle narcotics, aiming at selling them. Thus, investigations were carried out and the suspects were identified. The suspects were arrested after obtaining a warrant from the Public Prosecutor, while 3kg of hashish and cash were seized.
Legal measures were taken and the case was referred to the Public Prosecution.
