Bahraini Authorities Decide to Release Cancer Patient Detainee

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini authorities decided on Tuesday (July 31, 2018) to release detainee Sayed Kadhem Abbas after his health deteriorated due to cancer.
Detainee Sayed Kadhem complained about being denied medical treatment despite feeling dangerous symptoms.
The detainee demanded to be examined by a doctor since the symptoms started. However, the prison's administration postponed allowing him to receive his right to treatment. Meanwhile, the official registrar of patients claimed that his case doesn't require a transfer to hospital.
