Gang Smuggling Drugs through King Fahd Causeway Arrested

Bahrain Mirror: The Director-General of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science announced the arrest of a gang of drug traffickers and dealers consisting of two Bahrainis and two Gulf nationals. The gang smuggles drugs through King Fahd Causeway. Two kg of Hashish worth BD12,000 and cash were seized from them.
He said the department was tipped off about the two Bahrainis who sold the drugs smuggled in by the two Gulf national through the land port. The investigation led to the suspects' identification and arrest after a warrant was issued by the Public Prosecutor.
Legal measures were taken and the case was referred to the Public Prosecution.
