Meteorological Directorate: July 2018 Hottest July in Bahrain since 1902

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Meteorological Directorate (BMD) in its monthly weather summary said the month of July 2018 goes on record as the second hottest July ever experienced in Bahrain since 1902.
The mean temperature of the month was 36.2 C which is 2.3 C above the long-term normal and goes on record as second the highest mean temperatures for the month of July since 1902 and only exceeded by July 2017 with a record of 36.9 C.
The mean maximum temperature of the month was 40.4 C which is 2.4 C above the long-term normal and goes on record as the sixth highest mean maximum temperatures for the month of July since 1946 and exceeded by July 2017 with a record of 42.1 C, July 2002 with a record of 41.4 C, July 2000 with a record of 41.3 C, July 2004 with a record of 40.8 C and July 1996, 2008 & 2012 with a record of 40.5 C
