Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received US Secretary oF Defense  James Matiss during his visit to Bahrain to participate in the Manama Dialogue Forum.

A statement issued by Bahrain News Agency (BNA) said that the King received at the Gudaibiya Palace (Friday 26 October 2018) the US Secretary of Defense, accompanied by the commander of US Central Command Commander, General Joseph Votel.

During the meeting, the King stressed on the development of relations with the United States, especially in terms of "military coordination and defense cooperation", and discussed with his guest "the events in the region," according to the agency.
