MoI Calls Citizens to Follow “Safety Instructions” amid Unstable Weather

Bahrain Mirror: The Interior Ministry issued a number of instructions related to safety amid the unstable weather.
The Interior Ministry called on citizens and residents to disconnect the electricity in case of short circuit because of the rainwater, and then call the civil defence to coordinate with the electricity emergency department.
The ministry also urged all people to avoid standing near lampposts, electricity sources and exposed wires.
It called on driver to check the brakes, drive slowly and keep the safety distance between vehicles.
Drivers were also requested to avoid using road filled with rainwater, including Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman highway towards Manama near Jidhafs and Kuwait Road near Um Al Hassam until the water is removed.
Citizens and residents can call the emergency line 999 round the clock, as their safety is the priority, the ministry said.
