Justice Minister: Over 3,000 Votes in Elections Abroad

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Chairman of the Higher Committee for Elections, Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, said that the number of voters in the polling stations outside Bahrain reached more than three thousand and 334 until 9 pm on Tuesday (November 20, 2018).
The Minister said that the number of voters abroad exceeds twice the number of votes abroad in the elections in 2014, as the number was 1,667, according to him.
The Minister further stated that the vote took place in 12 embassies, consulates and overseas missions.
It is noteworthy that the number of voters abroad in 2010 amounted to about 1,195, and in 2014 1,667 and this year exceeded 3,334, according to the Minister of Justice.
