Appeals Court Upholds Death Penalty against Murderer of Imam of Bin Shida Mosque

Bahrain Mirror: The High Appeals Court upheld, unanimously, death penalty against murderer of Imam of Bin Shida mosque in Muharraq.
The High Court of Appeals considered the appeals lodged by two convicts involved in deliberately and premeditatedly murdering the imam of Bin Shida Mosque, rejected their appeals and upheld the sentence issued by the High Criminal Court, Chief Prosecutor of Muharraq Governorate, Hussain Khamis, said.
The first instance court had issued death penalty against the first suspect and 1-year jail term against the other one.
