NAO Office: 4.3 Million BD Value of Expired Medications in Health Ministry Stores

Bahrain Mirror: National Audit Office report for the years 2017-2018 said that the failure of the stores department in the Ministry of Health to finish the medications and health supplies that are close to expiry led the ministry to suffer financial losses due to the expiry of some medications.
It noted that the medications lost between 2015 and 2017 due to expiry amounted to 4.3 million BD.
