Bahrain Mirror: The Bahrain state budget for the years 2019-2020 showed no increase in non-oil revenues, which confirms the government's failure to diversify sources of income and rely on oil revenues.
According to the draft budget, non-oil revenues amount to about one billion dinars for the years 2019-2020, the level at which the revenues were in the last draft budget.
According to the figures, Bahrain's reliance on oil revenues will reach more than 80%.
The government, led by Khalifa bin Salman, has been trying for decades to reduce dependence on oil, but has always failed to raise non-oil revenues.
