Bahrain Mirror: Palestinian Hamas organization official called for boycotting the economic conference that Washington announced will be held in the Bahraini capital Manama next month as part of a plan to realize the US "Deal of the Century" in the Middle East.

Member of Hamas political office, Hossam Badran, commented the US invitation to hold an economic event in Manama next month. "The US call to hold the meeting in Bahrain is a US step in full coordination with the occupation as part of their attempts to liquidate the Palestinian cause," Badran said on Twitter.

Badran stressed saying: "Our people are united in their rejection of the so-called deal of the century. It is in the interest of the occupation only. We are a people living under occupation and our cause is national liberation and self-determination."

The official went on to say that "attempts to polish the image of the occupation through economic solutions will not pass. We are loyal to the blood of the martyrs and the sufferings of prisoners, and call on all Arab and international parties to boycott this meeting and the likes of it."

He asserted that no power in this world "could force our people to abandon their rights or give up their principles."

"This is an opportunity to reaffirm our call to all factions, forces, elites and various components of our Palestinian people to agree on a unified strategy to stand up to the challenges, first of which the deal of the century, "Badran added.
