Trial of 2 Officers, 10 Policemen Accused of Beating Prisoners in Jaw Prison Adjourned

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Minor Criminal Court adjourned the trial of 12 security service men, including two officers, accused of mistreating a number of inmates in Jaw Central Prison by beatings, after hearing the statements of the investigating officer until September 19, to enter final plea.
The Special Investigation Unit investigated the case of political prisoners beaten by two officers and 10 other policemen at Jaw Prison after being notified of the incident on April 11, 2019. It decided to refer the case to court after investigations and review of forensic reports were concluded, proving injuries were sustained from being subjected to beatings.
