Saudi Arabia Allows Citizens of 49 Countries to Visit without Pre-Arrival Visa

Bahrain Mirror: Saudi authorities said on Friday they would allow tourists from 49 countries to enter the kingdom without a visa in advance, at a cost of 440 riyals for a maximum of 180 days. It, however, announced that "women are required to dress modestly" and that tourists are prohibited from entering the cities of Mecca and Medina.
The visa fee will be SR 300 with a National Insurance fee of SR 140 that amount to a total of SR 440, in addition to the value added tax and transaction fees. The validity of the visa will be 360 days from the day of issuance. The duration of stay in the Kingdom is 90 days per visit, and not more than 180 days a year.
