Tamkeen Says 6% of Companies It Supports Owned by Foreigners

Bahrain Mirror: Board Chairman of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen) Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa said that Tamkeen's support for non-Bahraini companies reaches 6% of the total support it provides for companies, adding that the companies where non-Bahrainis own shares partly or entirely do not exceed 7% of companies in Bahrain.
During a press conference, Mohammed bin Isa assured Tamkeen's support of non-Bahraini-owned companies, stressing that they are a key asset to the national economy. It is important that the kingdom attracts such companies and employs as many Bahrainis as possible, he added.
