Bahrain Mirror: Rudolph Giuliani's personal lawyer exposed financial transactions with Bahrain when he mistakenly left two audio messages about his need for hundreds of thousands of dollars from Bahrain on a television channel.
"It seems that Giuliani made a mistake on October 16 when he left two audio messages on the telephone answering machine to the reporter, believing he was leaving them to his assistant," NBC said on Friday.
"Tomorrow I want to work something on Bahrain and call them. The problem is that we need money," he says.
According to the lawyer, he wanted his assistant to contact a person named Robert Kahn in Turkey at the moment.
Giuliani returned to CNN, saying: "We need a few hundred thousand dollars," adding that voice messages related to "an illegal problem does not affect security."
The lawyer stressed that this case has nothing to do with the conversation between US President Donald Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelinsky, and asked him to investigate the work of former Vice President Joseph Biden and his son Hunter in Ukraine.
Giuliani became the focus of media attention after a major scandal broke out in Washington over allegations by an unnamed US intelligence officer, that President Trump pressured Ukraine's President Vladimir Zelinsky during a telephone conversation to encourage Kiev to help re-elect the incumbent president for a second term in 2020.
The US president, with Giuliani's help, stipulated that his Ukrainian counterpart should seek to investigate the actions of Biden's son in return for providing financial and military assistance to Kiev.
Biden is now one of Trump's most prominent potential rivals in the upcoming U.S. presidential election in November 2020.
