Bahrain Mirror: The spiritual leader of Shia majority in Bahrain, Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim, described normalization with Israel a crime, adding that boasting about normalization is "the most detestable in the religion".
In a statement on Wednesday (August 19, 2020), Sheikh Qassim considered rushing for normalization with Israel and encouraging on this is "a blatant challenge to the nation and stultification for its stand against the Zionist aggression."
The following is the statement:
In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful.
The Zionist entity is a center of evil on the earth and mortal enemy to Islam and Islamic nation.
Showing love to the enemy who is against the truth, normalizing relations with it in order to help, and to support it against the Muslims who are persecuted at its hands and to condemn their self-defense and to show them surrender and obedience to their injustice, is the biggest form of injustice and a violation.
This normalization is a crime and its declaration is a bigger crime because it encourages it. Besides, calling on others to rush towards it is a blatant challenge to the nation, and stultification of its anti-Zionist aggression, and a blow to the boycott position, which is one of the weapons in the face of aggression.
Boasting about normalization and rushing towards it is "the most detestable in the religion".
The aforementioned normalization, its declaration and its boasting of it, are three positions that have ugly and serious significance.
The nation has a duty to deny and reject. God is stronger and more powerful.
Isa Ahmed Qassim
