Bahrain Mirror: An official source in Bahrain said that "talks were held today in Manama with an Israeli official delegation during which they discussed areas of cooperation within the framework of the declaration of support for peace between the two countries."
The announcement reveals part of the Bahraini authorities' rush towards the Israeli entity and the regime's desire to reach a formal agreement for normalization with the entity.
The first known direct commercial flight between Israel and Bahrain landed Wednesday in the island kingdom, just a week after the two countries signed a declaration of support for peace in Washington.
Flight data showed an Israir Airlines Airbus A320 landed at Bahrain International Airport after a nearly three-hour flight from Tel Aviv's Ben-Gurion International Airport.
The Israeli government didn't mention anything about the flight, although the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held yesterday, Tuesday, a telephone call with the Bahraini Crown prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The Bahraini media outlets didn't mention anything about the flight as well.
"For the first time, an airplane belonging to Israir Company used Saudi airspace on a flight to Bahrain," said Israeli media outlets.
Media outlets reported that a delegation of Israeli officials was onboard the flight that landed in Bahrain to hold talks aimed at establishing a headquarters for the company (Israir) in the Bahraini capital.
